Pula Steel board to appoint new CEO

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The board of directors of the troubled Pula Steel is in the process of replacing its current chief executive officer, Ranvir Kumar Verma.

Pula Steel has already advertised the position and it is reported that a senior official from BCL mine will be appointed to replace Verma. The company’s director of corporate services, Brian Mosenene confirmed that the recruitment process is ongoing but explained that according to the shareholders agreement the major shareholder, being BCL, has the right to appoint a CEO.

“In fact, Verma has been here for a certain period,” he said.
