Portray SADC positively - media told

The media has been challenged to market southern Africa for the two major soccer events coming to the region in 2010.

Head of communication resource centre for International Marketing Council (IMC) of South Africa, Tyrone Seale said in Gaborone last week that the media should understand the good news and defend the bad news about the region to exploit the World Cup and African Cup of Nations in 2010.

He urged the media to report the true and positive story of the region in the build-up and during the World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
