FRANCISTOWN: The death of a special constable who was allegedly found hanging from the rafters of his rented house at Block 4 on Thursday evening has elicited suspicions of a foul-play.

The station commander of Kutlwano police Neo Serumola confirmed the incident but said he cannot at this stage say whether the 26-year-old police officer had indeed taken his own life or was killed later hanged to make it look like suicide.

Serumola said the deceased’s live-in lover reported the horrific incident around 7 pm telling the police that she suspected that her boyfriend might have hanged himself.
