Police Probe Lecturer Over 'Tuition Fees'

Thamaga police are probing a case in which a lecturer at Tshwaragano Brigade in Kumakwane has collected over P4,000 from students in tuition fees.

Thamaga Police Station commander, Balisi Ntampa said they are at the early stages of investigation, hence he could not say much.

“We have recorded the case and investigations are ongoing,” he said. Reports say 10 students were swindled by the female lecturer who pocked P4,450. The Ministry of Education is aware of the case, but could not say what action it will take. “Investigations are still going on therefore it is still too early to say what action will be taken against the officer,” the ministry spokesman, Silas Sehularo said.
