A survivor of police shooting at Gaborone West Industrial has narrated how he was peppered with eight bullets by police as he raised his hands up in surrender. Apparently, the police showed no mercy on the mistaken would-be robber.

In mid-February, news broke out that the police had successfully intercepted a possible armed robbery, killing two and injuring two suspects at scene. The Monitor team caught up with one of the survivors at his home in Gaborone.
