Police in Serowe are investigating an incident in which a 40-year-old woman was raped by a known man at Kgaswe lands in the outskirts of Serowe Wednesday night.

No: 2 Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent, Paul Oketsang said the victim was walking home alone around 8:30pm from the tuck-shop when she was attacked and raped by a known man.

"We received the report of the matter yesterday from the victim and investigations into the matter are ongoing to locate the known suspect who fled the crime scene following the incident," Oketsang said.
