FRANCISTOWN: A 65-year old pastor from Tonota appeared in court yesterday to face four counts of rape.

The state alleges that the pastor ravished the four primary school going children between 9 and 13 September this year in Tonota. The students are also congregants at the church, where the accused is a pastor.

Prosecutor Paul Chaluza told the court that the accused has been served with statements. He applied for trial dates in the matter to be set and for the further remand of the accused in custody.
