Parties to hold mammoth rally in F/town

Opposition parties - the Botswana Congress Party (BCP), Botswana National Front (BNF), Botswana Peoples Party (BPP) and Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) - will tomorrow hold a rally to support the public service workers' strike in Francistown.

This will be the second rally of its kind after the White City mammoth rally held in Gaborone last weekend.  In an interview with Mmegi, BMD organising secretary Kabo Morwaeng said the presidents of the four opposition parties will address the people and give solidarity messages to workers and members of Botswana Federation of Public Service Unions (BOFEPUSU). 

"The rally will start at 12 noon to 5pm," he said.
