Parties plan mammoth rallies for Tonota

This weekend will see Tonota North painted in a rainbow of colours as political parties descend on the constituency to campaign for the by-election to be held in the first week of September.

The opposition bloc of the Botswana Movement for Democracy and Botswana People's Party (BPP)is rooting for the Botswana Congress Party candidate, Dr Habaudi Hobona, who is pitted against the ruling Botswana Democratic Party's Fidelis Molao.

The programme for the opposition bloc will start on Saturday with a motorcade in Borolong where the BCP chairman, Batisani Maswibilili, activists Annah Motlhagodi and campaign manager, Vain Mamela, will address a rally.
