Parliament has passed a motion calling on government to sponsor unemployed graduates to go for further studies. The motion was moved by Bagalatia Arone and passed by MPs on Friday.

A few MPs from the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) were not convinced that the motion had been passed after Deputy Speaker, Pono Moatlhodi said the ‘ayes have it’. During debate, Assistant Minister, Patrick Masimolole made it clear that the motion was asking for the impossible.
