Palapye 10 Await Bail Application Ruling

FRANCISTOWN: Ten Palapye men who are charged with murder will spend the Easter holidays behind bars as a ruling in their bail application will be delivered on April 11.

The state alleges that Omang Kebotswang, Tshepo Tsholetsang, Odirile Kebotswang, Tebogo Tsholetsang, Thabo Selepa, Obakeng Keetile, Thuso Kegomoditse, Galeboe Kebotswang, Golebaone Kealeboga and Keitumetse Kesetsekae jointly murdered Godfrey Mookodi at Palapye on April 22, 2011 after a heated argument following a drinking spree.

The accused recently approached court to grant them bail saying they have never violated their bail conditions before as well as after they were committed to the High Court for trial.
