ZCC members Sunday at the National stadium

Over half a million ZCC members mainly from South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland, as well as from Zimbabwe and Namibia descended here for prayers that started on Friday night and ended yesterday at the National Stadium.

The area and roads around the National Stadium were jam packed with private cars belonging to the multitudes.  The Monitor observed that starting from the Princess Marina Hospital to the stadium, both sides of the road were turned into parking lots as hundreds of cars lined the road on Sunday.

The road leading to the National Stadium from Tlokweng was also turned into a parking lot on either side. It was a similar story with the dual carriageway from the Gaborone Sun. On Saturday night The Monitor team observed thousands of ZCC members sleeping along the roads. Sleeping  members could be seen on either side of the roads leading to the stadium.
