Over 300 graduate from Ba Isago

Over 300 graduates released into the market on Friday by BA ISAGO College, with qualifications ranging from certificates and diplomas in a spectra of disciplines, have been told to grow the human capital locally and abroad.

At the institution's 6th graduation ceremony, Chief Executive Officer of the Public Enterprises Evaluation and Privatisation Agency (PEEPA),  Kgotla Ramaphane encouraged all private players in higher education to emphasise quality on (study) programmes in order to have a competent work force. The importance of quality of education, he said could not be under looked as it was outmost in view of the growing graduate unemployment numbers in Botswana. At the core national development agenda, he said was skilled and well trained personnel to elevate Botswana to the next level of economic development.

"The world is a highly globalised system, in which knowledge is the key to success. As you all know, we are already part of the globalised knowledge system and will become increasingly so in the future," he said.
