Opposition whip and Member of Parliament for Francistown South, Wynter Mmolotsi says the opposition is considering banning state media from their future events due to its alleged hostility towards opposition parties.

Mmolotsi told journalists last week that the opposition had complained on several occasions about being shunned by the state media, especially Botswana Television (Btv), which he said covers their events but does not screen them.

“We can give a number of examples of occasions when the Btv has attended our activities and taken videos but has not broadcasted them.
