Nurse assaults pregnant ex-girlfriend

A 35 year-old Psychiatric Nurse at Princess Marina Hospital in Gaborone, Augustine Mompati appeared before the Urban Customary Court deputy president Patricia Raditladi for allegedly assaulting his pregnant girlfriend.

Mompati was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Mompati was dragged to the Customary Court by his ex-girlfriend Monicah Khwae, who is an accounts assistant, after allegedly assaulting her last year on Christmas day causing her to miscarry.
