Ntlhaile emerges victorious

The Botswana National Front (BNF) has announced Shawn Ntlhaile as the winner for the Jwaneng-Mabutsane constituency parliamentary seat following the party’s primary elections in August 2018.

According to the letter written to the constituency by national election board chairperson, Jerry Rasetshwane, due to unbecoming behaviour by some members at the Khakhea ward rerun, there was another failure to announce the pending parliamentary results.

The letter shows that Ntlhaile got 1,396 votes, Oadira Tsietsi Kwenje 1,029 while Celsius Rambe got 1,366 votes.
