FRANCISTOWN: Once again, the North East District (NED) is the Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE) champion after scooping 81.57% in the just released 2016 PSLE results.

In four consecutive years since 2013, the NED has been holding on to this position and did it again this year with the South East region the runners-up again.

The regional director for operations in the Ministry of Basic Education, Galesenngwe Mohube said despite retaining the top position they are unhappy because they have dropped by 2.81 percent as compared to 84.38%t they attained last year.
