North East region registers drop in JC results

FRANCISTOWN: The honeymoon is over for the North East (NE) region following a drop in the just released Junior Certificate (JC) results.

Just last year, the region celebrated outstanding performance in Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE), JC and Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Examinations results. In 2014, NE region scooped first position countrywide in JC results with 49.6 percent, but dropped to 43.8 percent for 2015.

The region had also scooped position two with a 30.98 percent in BGCSE results and position one in PSLE results with 84.6 percent.
