No More Work Permits For Foreign Pastors

The Minister for Labour and Home Affairs Edwin Batshu has confirmed that his ministry is embarking on a new policy to slice foreign pastors' work permits from five years to a normal 90 days stay, just like tourists.

And the government decision has been welcomed by the Evangelical Fellowship of Botswana (EFB) who says they are concerned that a number of new churches, nick-named fire churches, are soiling the name of evangelical churches with their miracle water and oils.

EFB official and also the president of Apostolic Faith Mission in Botswana(AFM) Jobe Koosimile says they are concerned with water and oils that are being sold to gullible followers.
