SELEBI-PHIKWE: Botswana Congress Party (BCP) enjoyed peaceful primary elections in the four constituencies in Botswana north of Dibete last weekend.

Except for an incident at Sesame South ward where voters demanded ballots to be counted at the polling station before being ferried to the central counting point, the election process ran smoothly.

In Selebi-Phikwe East, Kgoberego Nkawana emerged victorious by 710 votes against Kgololego Kabelo's 375 votes and Benjamin Bagayi's 278 votes.
