The woman who was found dead and her body wrapped in a plastic bag last week was buried at the Phomolong private cemetery in Gaborone on Sunday morning. Cecilia July’s body was found badly decomposed and dumped in the bush on the outskirts of Tlokweng village last Friday.

The police suspect the boyfriend of the deceased was responsible for her death and have embarked on a massive manhunt to locate him, as he was the last person seen with her.

According to the police, July’s lifeless body might have been at the spot three days before it was found.
