Nkaigwa unhappy with F/town fiasco

Mayor of Gaborone Haskins Nkaigwa has critisised the country’s leadership for postponing the Francistown West by-elections based on the squabbles within the ruling party.

Adressing a full council meeting Nkaigwa said: “The decision to postpone these by-elections has cast some real doubts on the independence of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC).

“The Democracy that has been our triumph card has been seriously compromised.”
