New BGCSE timetable next week

Under fire Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has said that a new Botswana General Certificate Secondary Education (BGCSE) timetable will be released next week.

The CEO, Moreetsi Thobega revealed the development this morning during a press briefing to update the nation on the examinations paper leak. The CEO said although programming has been disrupted, BEC has completed drawing up alternative papers for the leaked subjects and are ready to be printed.

“We have completed alternative papers. We are only left with formatting them for printing. We have already talked to the printers and we would have sent to them to print by next week, “ the CEO said.
