However, the judge said the accused shall be confined at the pleasure of President Ian Khama because he was mentally unsound when he committed the offences.

Said Nyamadzabo: “The accused shall not be called to give his defence because he was insane at the time he committed the offences. I enter a special verdict as follows: he is guilty of having killed his two daughters. I shall in due course make a report to the President that he be confined at the pleasure of the President at a safe place of custody for a period to be determined by the President”.
