Mzwinila appears for unlawful wounding

Serial offender Edward Mzwinila yesterday appeared before Extension II Magistrate, Abigal Masawi facing charges of unlawful wounding, a crime he is said to have committed this Sunday.

Papers before court indicate that Mzwinila on August 10 unlawfully wounded one Thabo Hurdall by hitting him with the butt of a gun on the head.

Commander at the Tlokweng Police Station, Robson Maleka confirmed that Mzwinila turned himself in to the Tlokweng Police after a suspected shoot-out that happened in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
