Multitudes flock Dibete checkpoint amid interzonal lockdown

Despite the Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr Edwin Dikoloti having explicitly announced an interzonal lockdown last night, multitudes of people have crossed the Dibete checkpoint travelling to the northern part of country earlier today.

Dibete Police Station commander, Superintendent Meshack Rranku revealed this when reached for an interview by The Monitor.

Rranku said earlier today that travellers flocked the checkpoint heading to the north despite the health minister banning travel and movement across zones.
