MPT kicks out directors

The chairman and deputy of the Mmegi Publishing Trust (MPT), who, in February this year disposed of a chunk of their shares to shareholders of MIH, have been removed from their positions by the general membership of the trust as a result of their poor handling of the sale of shares to Messrs Leepile and Mbuya.

This happened  at  the MPT's  Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Gaborone on saturday.

Also removed from  the board was Chimbidzani Chimidza. Court records in the Leepile/Mbuya vs Thulganyo Mogobe and 12 Others show that the three were consistent in their opposition to the sale.
