Motswana selected to attend World Economic Forum on Africa 2017

One young Batswana have been invited to join the World Economic Forum on Africa Conference in Durban, South Africa commencing 3-5 May, 2017.

Lesego Barona Otlhabanye, a member of the Global Shapers Community Gaborone Hub, succeeded in being accepted to join this prestigious conference, under the theme “Achieving Inclusive Growth”.

The 27th World Economic Forum on Africa will convene regional and global leaders from business, Government and civil society to explore solutions to create economic opportunities for all. Key areas of discussion will be connecting markets, revitalising manufacturing and integrating innovation.
