Motlhale Denies Return To BDP

The MP for South East South, Odirile Motlhale, has denied reports that he was consulting people in his constituency about a proposed return to the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP).

Motlhale joined the newly formed Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) last month after defecting from the BDP.
But there have been reports this week that Motlhale could be on his way back to the BDP. This follows the return of two MPs to the BDP after they joined the BMD.

"There is no iota of truth in such reports," he said. Motlhale said if there was any consultation that he was doing, it was recruiting BDP members to BMD.
