Mother killer remanded in custody

FRANCISTOWN: A Natale man, who recently left villagers reeling in shock after he allegedly murdered his mother over witchcraft claims, was further remanded in custody when he appeared in court yesterday.

The accused Dibebe Ngele (44), a barber, was denied bail after his second appearance in court before senior magistrate Thebeetsile Mulalu.

Two weeks ago Ngele shocked the nation when he allegedly tied his mother Thandiwe Mbulawa (63) to the back of his car and then dragged her for about a kilometre before finishing her off with an axe.
