Montshiwa murder:lawyer wants charge withdrawn

Modise David, a lawyer charged with the murder of former Fairground chief executive officer, Michael Montshiwa has asked the police to withdraw the charge to allow them to investigate the matter fully.

His lawyer, Kgosietsile Ngakaagae told the Village Magistrate court presiding magistrate Ike Raphael, that he advises the state to temporarily withdraw the matter until they have enough evidence against his client.

“Why can’t we be relieved whilst investigations are ongoing?” Ngakaagae asked.
