LOBATSE: The cost of the damage to government property which was allegedly destroyed by rioting Moeding College students on the last day of examinations last year is estimated at P300,000.

The Lobatse Magistrates’ Court heard yesterday during a mention in a case in which at least eight former students face charges of malicious damage to property.

Leatile Ntwaetsile (19), Martin Chico (18), Moyombuya Sipho (18), Arnold Botlhoko (20) Tefo Mmualefhe (19), Tshenolo Serame (20) Modisaotsile Moretele (19) and Brian Motlhagatsane (19) are alleged to have assembled immediately after their examinations and went on a rioting spree.
