Mixed reactions as BDP Letswapo Region elects Tshotego chairman

PALAPYE: Some Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) members in the Letswapo Region are said to be disappointed that Dithapelo Tshotego was elected chairman after being welcomed back into the party in October last year.

Tshotego garnered 41 votes against Tshokodiso Raboloko’s 31 during the region’s BDP committee elections that were held here over the weekend.

Speaking in an interview, Palapye regional chairman Sam Maeka said that everything went well except for the minor nuisance by her deputy, Itsoseng Motsumi who vowed that Palapye region will not work with Tshotego.
