Miller not shocked at Trump election

The United States (US) Ambassador to Botswana Ed Miller may be among the people who were surprised by Wednesday outcome of his country’s elections, that brought Donald Trump to power, but he was not shocked.

He knew a huge number of his friends back home, in the State of Michigan who had vowed not to vote for Democrat Hillary Clinton. Miller is neither worried at the language that was used during the campaign because it is all in the past, as it did in previous elections.

“We have a vigorous participation in the elections, but once the winner has emerged we move forward. It was good to hear Trump pledging in his victory speech to work with all, and that he will be President for all Americans,” Miller said.
