PALAPYE: Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) chairman, Mokgweetsi Masisi, has called on the party’s national youth executive committee to recruit more of their peers into the party.

Masisi said this during a BDP NYEC rally here on Saturday, where the party welcomed two new members from the Botswana Congress Party (BCP). The two are former BCP council candidate for Serorome West, Tefo Malala and former Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST) SRC president, Tumisang Letsatsi.

Masisi, who is also the country’s Vice President, urged the party’s youth to approach more of their peers wherever they are and recruit them into the ruling party. He said in order for the party to win the 2019 general elections, the youth ought to stand up and work hard in recruiting more members.
