Masisi extends condolences on Winnie Mandela's death

President Mokgweetsi Masisi has extended condolences to his South African counterpart Cryil Ramaphosa on the death Winnie Mandela.

"It is with profound sadness that I learnt of the demise of one of the icons of the liberation struggle in South Africa, Mrs. Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.

On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Botswana, and indeed on my own behalf, I wish to extend my deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to Mrs. Madikizela Mandela’s family, the African National Congress, and to the Government and people of the Republic of South Africa.
