Marobela, BDP set to clash in court again

FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) leadership and its Francistown-West activist, Whyte Marobela are headed for another bruising court battle. When Marobela and the BDP leadership meet at a session of the Court of Appeal, at a date yet to be set, there will definitely be no love lost if the latest developments are anything to go by.

Mmegi is on good authority that the two parties have lately been exchanging strongly worded letters on the case.

Marobela’s appeal to the party has a likelihood of being overtaken by events as the BDP has moved on. The ruling party is holding fresh primary elections in the constituency without Marobela’s participation.
