The Manual Workers Union has challenged President Ian Khama on his appointment of Court of Appeal (CoA) judges saying no judge should be reappointed after serving a fixed term.

The lawyers for the union have argued that the reappointments were unconstitutional and should be reversed.

The union’s official name is National Amalgamated Local and Central Government and Parastatal Workers’ Union (NALCGPWU).
