Man sues police for P600,000 after �stocktheft assault�

FRANCISTOWN: A 54-year-old man is suing the police for P600,000 for alleged negligence of duty in a matter in which he was allegedly assaulted by a businessman.

The Attorney General (AG), who is representing the police, is cited as the first respondent while a Sebina businessman, Jacob Masima, is cited as the second respondent in the matter.

In his declaration, Olesitse Ramatsuru, says that on July 26, 2014 at Marapong lands, he met one sub inspector Seboko who was with other police officers.
