A hawker, Gaone Lefika told The Monitor that the man who was wearing grey jeans and a white T-shirt came from the direction of Bontleng. He said the man looked normal.
“He walked past us here by the entrance (to the ministry building). Because he looked normal, everyone just continued with their business. Minutes later, we saw him being chased from the offices. We thought that maybe he was just being a nuisance. We did not think that the worst was to come,” he said.
