Man attacks ex, faces threat-to-kill charge

A 49-year-old man has been arrested and charged with threat-to-kill after allegedly threatening the life of his ex-girlfriend.

The incident occurred whilst the 23-year-old was bathing at her home in Old Naledi, Gaborone on Saturday around 9:50pm when the suspect unexpectedly barged in.

No.13 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Obusitswe Lokae said a heated argument started between the two former lovers, during which the man allegedly accused the young woman of aborting his child.
