Mahalapye Seeks Divine Intervention Over Increased Road Accidents

PALAPYE: Nearly 50 percent of road accidents in the Mahalapye policing area involve youth, particularly those aged between 26 and 35 years.

The worrying figures were disclosed recently by Mahalapye Police traffic officer, assistant superintendent, Kgosienalerona Sechoni during a mass prayer held recently at Gwape Lands, 10 kilometres north of Mahalapye.

Sechoni said out of 103 accidents that happened last year in their policing area, 51 accidents involved youth.
