Palapye Member of Parliament (MP), Oneetse Ramogapi didn't mince his words when taking a swipe at the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP). Ramogapi made the remarks during a star rally following the 59th national council of the BDP, which took place in his 'backyard'.

The BDP descended upon Palapye over weekend for its highly-anticipated special congress and national council. Taking the stage, Ramogapi invited journalists to investigate the area where the BDP had held its weekend event, asserting that there was a significant amount of 'litter' and discarded condoms. "Batho ba ntshenyetsa kgaolo. Ne ba jele ba kgotse," (Loosely translated to mean "they have ruined my area.
