Station commander for Machaneng Police, Superintendent George Mabuta said despite continued efforts to raise public awareness, people persist in unlawfully entering private farms to hunt wild animals without the consent of farm owners.
"This year alone, we have already recorded three cases of unlawful hunting in privately-owned farms,” he told The Monitor.
It is not uncommon in this part of the world for parents to actually punish their children when they show signs of depression associating it with issues of indiscipline, and as a result, the poor child will be lashed or given some kind of punishment.
