The Law Society of Botswana (LSB) has suspended its disciplinary committee operations pending its appeal against a decision of the High Court in a case between the Society and prominent lawyer, Tebogo Sebego.

Sebego had taken the LSB disciplinary committee to court after it found him guilty of professional misconduct and fined him P7,500 for neglecting to give proper attention to his former clients. Yesterday, the LSB said it had suspended its disciplinary committee operations after resolving to appeal the High Court judgement.
