Lekganyane�s bid to escape litigation fails

The leader of Zion Christian Church (ZCC) Bishop Barnabas Lekganyane’s latest efforts to stop any litigation against him and his church have failed.

The bishop who has been in and out of court with some of his members from the local Tlokweng branch, yesterday suffered another defeat after his application to block any legal proceedings was dismissed.

Lobatse High Court Judge Jennifer Dube dismissed the application with costs on grounds that there was no evidence that the members had agreed to withdraw the matter.
