Brigadier George Tlhalerwa, the private secretary to President Ian Khama, said the president has registered in Serowe where he has been voting in the past. He said during the last general elections in 2009, Khama voted in Serowe. Tlhalerwa said due to his tight schedule, President Khama registered last week when the exercise was about to be closed.
He said Khama was always planning to register and it was only a matter of finding an appropriate time.
