The last survivor of a house fire that killed a Kumakwane family over the weekend, passed away from her injuries at Princess Marina Hospital (PMH) yesterday, Mmegi has established.

Three members of a family, (a father, mother and son) died instantly from the blaze in the wee hours of Saturday morning. Now, the 13-year-old daughter who was hospitalised at PMH with severe injuries has also died.

The fire, whose cause is still unknown, killed a 44-year-old woman and her six-year-old son, on the spot. Her 55-year-old husband passed away in hospital on Saturday, leaving the 13-year-old as the sole survivor.
