At the centre of the confusion is the government’s sudden change of heart over its hard-line stance on issues that affect Basarwa living within the CKGR. The government’s sudden change of heart comes a few days after President Khama set up a task force to look into the Basarwa’s leader and hero Roy Sesana’s appeal for mercy for Basarwa from Khama in a meeting that was held at the Office of the President (OP) recently.
