Ian Khama is a unique President, who set out to do things differently. On assumption of the Office of the President, he set a new record as Africa’s most eligible bachelor and as things stand, it seems, this will be a lifelong status. 

Like the unmarried and childless Queen Elizabeth 1 (1558-1603), who dedicated her 45-year reign to her British subjects, President Khama is wedded to his job, Botswana and her people.
